We’re celebrating our three years of existence by revamping Chezhiggins.com !
The most significant change: a more intuitive presentation, favoring better visibility. Our home page contains several modules, each one a gateway to discovering our catalogue.
You can search by collection or by photographer. You’d like to read the chronicles accompanying the portfolios ? With the new version of our website, you have the possibility of searching by author and reading all the chronicles. Here’s the perfect occasion to discover these texts, which each author, sharing our adventure, wrote especially for the portfolio.
Consult our 2007 catalogue on-line without having to download it. Of course, if you prefer, we would be happy to send you a copy. Simply indicate your mailing address on our Contacts page.
Two new collections enrich our 2008 catalogue. Besides ‘Testimony’ and ‘Erotica’, you’ll discover ‘Space’ and ‘Vanities’. ‘Space’ will feature the work of photographers questioning environment, space, architecture and landscape, such as Alain Cornu, Frances Dal Chele, Sabine Delcour, Patrick Tourneboeuf, Didier Ben Loulou and Stéphane Couturier…
In ‘Vanities’, you’ll discover or rediscover the work of talented photographers like Lionel Bayol-Themines, Lisa Roze, Marie Taillefer et Ali Mahdavi…
The photographers in our 2008 catalogue are not yet all online. The entries are being continuously updated.
Because promoting the portfolio or portfolios of our artists isn’t the unique core of our publishing house’s raison d’être, we also want to share with you what’s happening with our photographers. Consequently an entire module is devoted to the current events of the photographers in our collections.
This same reason motivated us creating in June 2007 the First Parisian Photography Promenade (the 1st PPP : June 14-30), an event in which numerous Parisian galleries and bookstores participated. The logistics for the PPP were entrusted to Catherine Philippot and her company, Relations Media.
The second edition of the PPP will take place from June 10-30, 2008. Guy Mandéry succeeds Hervé Le Goff as honorary President. As part of this event, we’ll celebrate “Filigranes Editions 20 years of publishing”.
Last but not least, unveiling our new website also provides us the opportunity of introducing you to Finearttv, the first Internet TV channel dedicated to the visual arts. We have worked closely with them since their creation.
More and more of you are visiting our website and discovering our cabinet of curios. Sincere thanks to our faithful followers, and welcome to the newcomers !
